12 Steps to Recovery From GriefAre you stuck in the grief process? Often in our grief, we oppose God, argue with Him, plead with Him for healing, and cut people out of our lives. Understanding spiritual truths will put us on a path of healing to help us move beyond our grief. These Twelve Steps will help us move from the death grip of grief to the restoration of life.

1. Open our hearts to God’s power to free us from the grip of grief.

10 Steps to Emotional Freedom

  1. Make amends
    Take steps to correct any problems you may have caused for others and acknowledge to them your regret for causing difficulty in their lives . . . Pursue peace with all men and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord. – Heb. 12:14
  2. Make friends with failure
    The fear of failure can hold you back from success. Most successful people have failed many more times than they’ve succeeded.
  3. Don’t say yes when you mean no
    If you feel it is always your “duty” to say yes to a certain person, that may be reflective of an unhealthy relationship.
